He is located in the pit in the Underdark

The Balor is that horrible demon in the Svirfnebli town in the Underdark.
He is very hard to kill. To dispel his fear attacks, cast remove fear and have as many people as possible equip some item that dispels fear (such as Lilarcor). Balor usually spawn at one specific spot in the dungeon area, position your weaker party members away from that area and summon creatures to act as distractions/blockers for the demon. Along with you tanks Balor should fall quickly. Try cleric spells like Bolt of Glory, it works pretty well.

Its a bit cheesy, but if you put all your party on the ledge on the left of the pit then the Balor cant get to them because he's too big. You need to protect your party from fear and cast chaotic comands on the members nearest to Balor. Then lower the monsters magic resistance and cast spells. Some bows and arrows hurt him as does some throwing axes.
Summon monsters, skeletons, elementals to take the brunt of his attacks

Actually it was kind of easy to weaken him at first. You legitimately know that he's coming up , right ?

To quote a line from Predator, "If it bleeds, we can kill it". So in traditional fashion I had everyone got wild on its hide. Aerie got scared and died, aside from that its no sweat. Protection from Fear would help, plus possibly a healer to cast Mass Heal.
