What are roguestones used for? I looked at the description and it says that they are used for the gemjump spell, but I looked through all of my documentation that came with the game and don't see that spell listed.

Aside from the description, a rogue stone can also grant you access to the Twisted Runes in the Bridge District. The entrance is located near the Southwest corner of the map, the door is trapped and faces the water side.

P.S. In terms of group fights, this is one of the tougher ones in the game, don't go in there unless you are ready.

the Twisted Rune is definetely a difficult fight--you'll face a powerful beholder, vampire, two extremely powerful magic-users that'll fling 9th level spells at you, and i believe a human or two. it's not impossible, but be ready. the pay off is good - staff of the magi.
