Any rangers out there tell me what wepon you use and how you find the ranger char
I'm a humen ranger duel wepon ax+flail

I've got an elven archer with the mana bow. He's an awesome range opponent.......

I played as a ranger, the only character I beat the game with.

I dual wield scimitar+3 water edge and a regular scimitar in the offhand.

And I had Red Dragon Scales on.

With boots of speed and other stuff.

I always give Valygar the "impaler" spear +3 which is obtained after killing the Rebel Prince in the underwater caverns (or whatever the're called)

For close-up, I dual-weild Daystar and Celetial Fury. If the opponent is undead, it's Daystar and FlameTongue. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...ievalsmile.gif

Hmm.... sounds familiar. Didn't really bother with close up weapons, because I had Minsc in the way. I think I managed a THAC0 of about -12 in the end.

I made a Archer,,I used Strong Arm i think,And the ngiht grift among other things.

My Stalker uses the Mana bow (was Elven court until ch7)

Up close: The Equalizer and Dragonslayer (switched for Daystar when undead hunting). I consider the side powers more important than the the to hit bonus. Dragonslayer gives immunity to fear and the Equalizer gived mind shield. Until ch6, I used dragonslayer and the drinker.
