If drow gets MR 80-100%, whats with viconia only having 50-60(one of them)%???

If you read her bio, it says since she left the Underdark long ago and no longer worships Lolth that her Drow abilities have faded over time (pr something similar). If you check her out back to BG1, her magic resist was 65%.

According to traditional D&D rules all her powers would have faded away into nothingness after leaving the radioactive fields of the Underdark. What I find more interesting is the fact that the drow don't use their innate powers of Darkness, Faerie Fire, and Levitate.

I dont think it has to do with radioactive fields or whatever. If that was the case you would see floating duergar and svirfnebli.

Yes, it is the radioactivity of the Underdark that bestows those magic powers to the drow and other similar races. The radioactivity is caused by certain crystal formation, and their magical equipment is acquired by letting the armor and weapons sit in close proximity of the crystals for X number of years. That is why every drow has at least +3 weapons and armor, and why their equipment is destroyed in sunlight.

Oh, and I do realize I am pathetic for knowing all this, but in my younger years I read EVERY piece of drow information I could get my hands on. As far as the other races though, they have various powers too, but I can't remember because I didn't "study" them like I did drow.

oh wait, mymistake, you're SO right!

did you know drow equipment only disintergrates at the exit to the underdark? if you spawn a drow or drow equipment using CLUAConsole the equipment dont disintergrate. "uddrow27" works well as the drow has drow plate +5 which gives an AC of -4. pretty cheesy way but still a bit of fun. dont travel back to the exit from underdark coz they disintergrate agin.
