I have crossed the tiled floor which spells Amaunator. In the room next to the Shadow, there is a statue. After you take the items, then there is a question mark you can click on which says that it appears she is waiting for something to be put in her arms. Are you supposed to do something here, give her something? Please help. Thanks.

That's only useful during Chapter 6, when your romance partner has been turned into vampire by Bodhi...you place the "dead" body of the NPC and the black heart of Bodhi on the Statue's hands (i.e. similar to dropping an item on a table) and resurrect the fallen NPC.
