What is Imoen's Belt for I don't have it. Since you can't take it off, why don't I have it?

As far as i know it has no use at all.......

in the first dungeon imoens immortal due to the belt. this means at low health she'll just run away.

Imoen is wearing the belt and you cannot take it off of her.

The belt prevents her from going below 1 hit point so that she makes it through Irenicus's dungeon in teh beginning. If she died in that dungeon, you wouldn't have any fight between her and Irenicus in the Market.

Anyone noticed that she can still cast those Magic Missiles whilst wearing armour, or (even better) not having any memorised? I think that it's the most annoyingly fudged bit of plot I've seen in a long time (in fact, since I GM'd a _proper_ RPG years back).

I hate script immunities. Even if you refuse her company, you still meet her at the exit. If you attack Mae'Var's thieves when you're not meant ot, you get auto-killed by a thief with a +1000 THACO, +zillions damage sword. If they have a thief that powerful, why aren't they running the whole town for f**ks sake

The Arkanis Gath immunity really bugged me.

I got the Thieves help in finally killing Bohdi. As soon as I saw Arkanis I killed his sorry ass.

When I returned to the guild to cleanse it of thieving trailer trash ol A.G. shows up from the dead ....still unkillable.

PS

Wasted the Paladins from Radiant Heart who also came to help. Picked up a +2 longsword and a +3 2-Handed number called Harbringer which unleashes the occasional fireball when it hits and also turns ogres to stone.

A wierd point about the Paladins help was that I asked them for help AFTER I had already killed Bodi- they turned up just as promised though.

So why doesn't Imoen have the belt in Chapter 4?

after rescuing her she doesn't have anythong with the storyline to do
