I finished BG II a week ago, and something really disappointed me. After getting out of the Underdark, a group oh Harpers told Jaheira that if she didn't surrender to the Harper's Hall, attacks against her would be more and more powerful. We tried to go to the Harper's House in the Docks area, but it was all empty. After that - no more attacks came at all.

there are no attack's (apart from dermin attacking you sometime in the future)
After this fight, about 3 months (game time) into the future elminster will come and make everything better and give jaheira a harper pin.

It looks like I finished the game too soon myself. I found the harpers hall empty too. I had been wondering why everyone kept talking about Elminster. Now i know. I think I'll take my time with it this time.
