I just accepted Bodhi's side and decided to go test her mettle since I just offed the Red Dragon. Well, as soon as I attack her, without a return attack, spell, level drain, etc. The ENTIRE FLIPPIN Party dies! Is this another attempt from the BG police to keep the game linear? Or is there something I don't know.

The same thing will happen to you if you work for the shadow thieves and try to kill renal bloodscalp so yes it is to keep it linear.
