I've played BG2 through a couple of times, always with the difficulty setting in the middle. I'm now thinking about setting it higher, but I worried that it will just make the game frustrating. Have any of you guys tried this yet?

Sorry, I haven't. I have a very LOW frustration threshold.

I played the game through with the slider closer to the left then the center and that was difficult and frustrating in spots for me. I have no idea how people play solo without going crazy. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...les/ponder.gif Sorry cant help. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif

I played on INSANE and beat the game as a ranger... Not a problem or frustration, except that dam*d Firgraag(spelling)
|
NO CLUE!! I cant even fight normal stuff at the very easiest setting and I have a full party!
|
OK, Tom. How? What's the secret? Did you use cheats or cap removers? If you did play it straight and beat the game on Insane, I'm impressed.

The game's hard enough on normal with a full adventuring party...Soloing on Insane!? Are you INSANE? I wouldn't make it past the Vampires let alone a Dragon (can't even do that now).

I completed it on Insane...........
I took the exp cap remoevers off though....... Tom's right that Fikragg and his Dragon friend is hard!!! It took me about 13 reloads until i beat him http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif ------------------ http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/bald...w/tge_024l.JPG |
