Possible spoiler ahead....
So... realistically, since you lose no reputatoin, and Adalon is a bitch to you when you first talk to her... is there any reason that you wouldn't kill her? I just slaughtered her solo with my level 17 sorcerer and his simulacrum... and I see no downfall to doing so. I still get to escape all the same, I just don't get that crappy crossbow, or the mounds of experience that I DON'T need. So, any reason? |

Hmmmmm... How about ROLEPLAYING a good alignment? Good guys don't kill good guys ! I mean , my Archer's racial enemy is DRAGONS, and I left her alone.... of course, if you're playin evil, ENJOY !!! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...sfiring_v1.gif ------------------ http://publish.hometown.aol.com/tobb...s/rudedawg.jpg http://www.phpshop.net/images/bg2guy/cov09.jpg The RudeDawg Known in these Forgotten Realms as Perin LightEyes and my girlfriends, Pamila and Phil [This message has been edited by RudeDawg (edited 05-08-2001).] |
Heh... roleplay in a single player game? Ha... that's funny. That would be like restricting your name to something fatasy-esque in your single player game even though no one will ever see it but you and maybe your friends. I do recall asking, realistically... If it benefits me, but does not fit my character... ack... why am I arguing with you all? There is no downfall to doing so. My appologies for asking.

err.. no reason I can think of. Didn't know there was NO rep penalty until I played Lord Raptor and killed the cow. Knowing that, she is doomed in every future game for being an arrogant b***h |
Yes, there is little penalty to not role-playing alignment.
Some minor spoilers . . . . However, I think it makes the game more interesting. When I played an evil character, I took the chance to demand money before any job I did. I took 128 gold from Nalia and didn't clear out her castle. When I visited the Druids, I took the evil alternative offer (won't spoil that one). Yeah, I caught heck for it when I returned to Trademeet, but hey, I was evil. BG2 has so many playability options, I like to save some for particular scenarios. I take the evil path and pick up Viconia and Korgan when I play an evil PC. I take the good path and pick up Anomen and Keldorn when I play a good PC. In my opinion, it makes the game even more fun to see what the next dialogue sequence will bring. ------------------ http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/memn...ges/bronze.gif Most Subtle Official Straightman of the Laughing Hyenas -- Grammarian Brigade. |
i mean, shes old man! well... firkraag too... umm oh well... she aint evil, not picking a fight. the downright reason on why shes so bitchy is coz her eegs got stolen by some petty drow thieves.. pathetic. a dragon... got pickpocketed.. tsk tsk..
