I need a heart of a devil to end the Planar Sphere quest and for some reason I can't manage to kill the dragon named Tanar'ri. As soon as he spots me most of my characters are held and I can't produce spells of fight any more. How can I prevent that? Is there a good weapon to fight the beast?

you can cast invisibility on your guys b4 you engage, chaotic commands to prevent being held, or have a bersker go berserk on his ass =) You can also hide a thief spot him and then plan from there =) but hey wait for the good guys to respond im jsut a newbie

Their are some weapons that immunes you from hold. And, if you have Valygar (suppose to if you got in the planar sphere) , his armour makes him immune to hold. You can always dispell hold.

hmmm i cant say i ever had trouble with that demon a few summonings take care of him quicksmart with minsc in there of course hackin and slashin. just keep trying different tactics when u have a hard fight. usually one of them works without too much trouble. the only spell in the whole game that really pisses me off is imprisonment. if u havent encountered that then ur in for some anger at the gamehttp://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

ring of ram is a great item to use and you can always protection from evil 10'
radius and summon a fiend of you own on that demon ass
