Why does everyone say there are problems between edwin and minsc?

I beet the game with them? I have them both for they are good. Never had a problem

Did you get Dynaheir, too ?

I got mincs, then dynaheir, killed her in my party, got edwin.

If you had to kill Dynaheir in the first one, then you KNOW why Minsc and Edwin don't get along. Unless you failed to read any of the dialogue and acted without thinking. Perhaps we're all assuming too much.

Could it be because.. oh, I don't know... Edwin Odesseiron is EVIL?
And Minsc was Dynaheir's protector?
