1/ Can a creature be completely immune to magic?
2/ Does priest spells count as magic?
3/ In IWD, Everene Blacksheaf said she is the cousin of Xan...is this Xan in BG1?
4/ Where is the weapon Daystar...never heard of it!
5/ Is it true you can forge a Mace of Disruption+2? Cromwell didn't think so!
6/ Any one have stats on the Slayer?
7/ What is the range of time stop?
8/ Where is pools of radiance based in? Where is it roughly in the world relative to Faerun?
9/ Where is Cormyr...same as above.

...thanks!

1. Yes I think so
2. Yes
3. No idea didn't play the game
4. It is in the City Gate Area, in the Inn there is a secret door. Go through and you'll find it http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/hihi.gif be prepared to fight...
5. Yes, it is possible but you need some pure Illithium Ore which you can obtain when doing the Sir Sarles quest (you get it in the Temple district after doing the Unseeing Eye quest)
6. No sorry, try using Infinity Explorer...or ask Memnoch http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif
7. Haven't played the game for ages.... Rikard???
8. and 9. Sorry mate, haven't got a clue...

Hope my meager knowledge has at least helped a little http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

I can answer some of your questions Avatar:

1. Yes
2. Yes, but casting Clerical spells in Amn won't make the Amn mages come after you.
3. ?
4. Lich has it. Access is via secret door in tavern in City Gates section of Amn.
5. Yes. Need Mace of Disruption +1 and Illithium ore from a temple district quest to go to Cromwell.
6. ?
7. Look in the BG2 manual or the spell description of the scroll. Not sure off the top of my head.
8. New Phlan and Myth Drannor. I'd have to see a map of the Forgotten Realms to tell you where it lies in relation to everything else. Sorry.
9. As above.

Whoa....grand ranger..
Everene is really Xan's cousin!? Despite the fact that IWD is almost 100 years before BG!? But is Xan immortal? He does have a moonblade?

Elhardo 04-30-2001 01:54 PM

3/ Xan was an NPC in Baldurs gate 1, a particularly pessimistic Elven Mage, I think you also get to control him in the tutorial on BG2 http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gifhttp://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif try it its funny! We all love Xan!

The original Pool of Radiance took place in/near the town of New Phlan which is on the northern edge of the Moonsea. I believe the area is called Thar.

Myth Drannor is actually the name of an ancient elven city, not a continent or world.

Elves live to be around 1200 years old so the fact that IWD was 100 years before BG2 wouldn't be a problem.

Elaboration for Question #2:Divine magics come from the gods as gifts to their devout worshippers, granting clerics (and, to a lesser extent, paladins and rangers) powers that vary from healing allies to blasting enemies with holy fire called down from the sky. Arcane magic, wielded by sorcerers, is far more devastating than is divine (though it lacks the versatility of the cleric's healing and protective spells)

This was copied off of Wizards of the Coast, in the subdirectory of Licensed products/Pool of Radience: Ruins of Myth Drannor
