A little disturbing detail:

In Beregost I got a quest about killing a gnoll in High Hedge & bringing back a sword. The problem is that I think I've already killed that gnoll (before I got the quest). Is there still any way to complete the quest?

I'm playing with TOTSC installed.

I take it that you don't have the sword??? If you did, and the guy asked you to get the sword, you could just end the dialog, then talk to him again and he will then recognize that you have it. But you probably already knew that, right? If the sword is lost, then you could always type in the cheat code for it, place it in your inventory and then give it to the guy that wants it, if that is what you want to do. It would not be cheating since you have already had the fight to get the sword, right???

I agree, that wouldn't be cheating, if there isn't any other way to do it. I don't have the sword, I just cleared out that area, then went to beregost and got the quest, now the Gnoll (who should hold the sword)is nowhere to be found.
