What the heck do I do with it?

WELCOME TO IW, FRED!

SPOILER * * * * * * * * * Now, if you have used it to detect the last guardian to the tomb of the king, it's pretty much useless. Just throw it away, it just takes space in your inventory. see ya! |
A mage can also wear it, to look cool!

Its useful for mages/thiefs to protect agaisnt critical hits.
Any item in a head slot will protect from critical hits, and the mask can be put on anyone, making it really useful. |
My sorcerer was wearing that useless hunk o junk until I got the ioun stone patch from baldurdash, allowing pretty much everybody to use these stones which are much more useful then the pretty mask.
|
slap it on a monk, for the critical protection of course.
|
Does it always dispel illusions?? cause I was just wondering since u can dispel the Elmentals invisibility with true sight
|
Nope, it only letts you see that one guy. Plus, it doesn't say that it protects against crits, so I'm not sure that it does. Seems to me that not all helms do.

anything that goes in a head-slot protects gainst critical hits - its nothing to do with the item, the game just checks if the slots occupied or not.
