Currently, this dwarven cleric has entertained the thought of trying out an elven mage. However, I am at a loss as to what party line-up would be most effective. As of the moment, I have myself, Anomen, Yoshimo, Jaheria, and Minsc. I am in need of a better warrior than Minsc, but am not too crazy about the idea of an evil dwarf in the group. Currently, I am in Chapter 3 with both characters(my mage and my usual dwarven cleric) and have yet to really "blow the game wide open" If anyone has some good examples of party line-up that have proven to be most effectve, please respond.

My first time i took Myself(Cavilier),minsc,valygar,anomen,jaheria,and imoen, we werent the biggest bunch of bad-a***s around but we got the job done and the mixture of personalities made for an interesting time

But if minsc is too weak for you try Valygar or Keldorn

It's not Minsc.....it's BOO!!!!

My good party usually have (assuming only 1 PC game):
Me: either cavalier or berserker/mage
Minsc and BOO!!!
Jaheria
Aerie
Nalia or Valygar
Imoen or Jan

They faired pretty well through out the game, as for my evil counterpart (assuming 1 PC game):
Me: berserker/mage or Kensai
Korgan
Jaheria
Viconia
Edwin
Imoen or Jan

Well, I would suggest adding Keldorn if you're not a paladin because he is the only character that can weild Carsomyr +5 sword. I have as fighters Minc and Keldorn, but he really kick ass once you get Carsomyr. He worth having in your party for that reason alone.

Though I edited mines and he was an elven mage.....with......say:

.....some heritage from some Iron Golems (shapechange to Iron Golem at will!!)
