I remember someone stating armor for a Monk but I can't find the post
could someone tell me what armor that was and where or how it can be

There is a major bug in the game wich allows the monk to wear Keldorns Armor if he has sudden statts, oderwise the monk can´t use any armor.

Under normal circumstances, the monk cannot wear any armor. But somehow, Keldorn's personal armor allows a monk to wear it, I am pretty sure you can check by opening it in IEEP.

I think its a deliberate kind of 'easter egg',that a monk can wear it,after all it does say"wearable by few others",which is also what it says about Valygar's armour.So who can wear Valygars armour?

The corthalas can where valygars armour aparently.
Custom items in BG2 are designated so because the requirments for using the items suck as Keldorn's armour are the exact exact stats of the character who's item it is. I.e

If you made a Human Male Inquisitor with exactly the same stats as Keldorn then you would be able to use his stuff.

I'm currently wearing Val's armor. Nice fit. Had him open the door and then wasted his stupid faux dreadlocked pimp ass and sold it to the wizards.

No doubt they will reanimate his corpse to complete their Milli Vanilli look alike duo.

The armor has some decent bonuses and I can use all of my thieving skills while wearing it.

my half orc priest/fighter is wearing valygars armour.
