...for some reason, my normal thief and my necromancer both seem to have unusually low thieving skill(max) and spell slots, respectively. Edwin has more spell slots than my necro, and Yoshimo can go higher with his thieving skills than my thief...my necro has 19 intel and my thief has 19 dex; both are imported. What's the problem? Thanz.

Is your thief dualed to something or is he a pure thief?

She's pure, so my necromancer.

Maybe it's perhaps the game creaters made the NPCs better so you would have to take them.

I'm not too sure exactly what it is that you're saying. Yoshimo is a Bounty Hunter and not a "pure" thief. You need to apply your (25) thieving skill points to whichever thief skill suits you upon level up, (there are 7 skills to choose from, so don't forget to scroll down the list.) It's unlikely that you'll hit the max' cap in any of them.
Are you saying that you have a Necromancer equal to Edwins level (ie level 15) but with less spell slots available? Post again Kerlyssa if you're still stuck. ------------------ One love, peace. |
Edwin was made with more spell slots (to memorize and cast) by the creaters. Why, I don't know, but it definitely makes him a powerful mage.
As for Yoshimo, I'm not sure but they could have given him more skill points then normal too. ------------------ http://esk.guildhappy.com/biotch.jpg -Nex, da Evyl Jesta ;) |
Don't forget that Edwin wears a necklace (that appears normal) given by the Red Wizards, this item cannot be removed. It may be that this grants him additional spells.
