After completing the quest to clean out Nalia's castle and given controle of the Castle, do you have to keep Nalia as a party member to remain in controle of the Castle ? Can I drop her from the team and still retain the castle ? What if she were to die in Battle ?

any input would be appreciated.

I'm not sure,but I think once the castle is yours it doesn't matter what happens to Nalia.

Once you get the keep, you don't need her unless you want to do the NPC related quests. But I normally kept her for my good aligned parties since she is a decent mage.

You can leave her behind and keep the castle, heck if they took it from you they will lose it to lord fat bottom and that not in their insterests.
