I just left the first dungeon and still have 6 wand named keys i.e. wand of frost, wand of summoning keys. Should I have used them in the dungeon or do I use them at a different time. Thanks.

Well, you should have used them in the room where there is some duervars and a assassin getting killed by a trap on the second level.
