Creating items and/or spells is leaving me a little http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...smiles/sd3.gif bored. I know the tgeweb main site, but where else may I turn for some serious game-reprogramming action?

Wait for Neverwinter Nights. With the Dungeon Toolkit you can make your own games/levels/critters/items/speech paths
