It's been a VERY long haul, especially with all the restarts.I think that after leaving the Asylum everything went downhill for quite a while in the story department. That city with the shark people was abyssmal! The 3 forest maps were really bad,but near the end it got better and the grand finale was perfect and the finishing movie was gratifying!
I enjoyed it sooo mutch, particularly the story which would reveal itself and move forward just at the right moments.I also really liked the richness of true myth and legend, there are so many myths and stories woven into the game which is very stimulating,-for example, the silver dragon being the guardian of a gateway/place/and existing under the ground and maintaining balance, which to me, is spot on!
I'd like to quote all my favourite bits but it would take too long and i am sure they're your faves also anyway.
I'll play it again for sure....but for now I REALLY NEED SOME COLD REALITY!!!

It will indeed. I've done 3 games and, when I've finished HOW, will go through with an evil Fig/Mag/Th and Viconia (never did cop off with her as a half-orc)

Well, I've just spent about the last hour installing BG1/TotSC/DSotSC,and the last 20 minutes making a super dangerous crossbow, and im off rampaging through Candlekeep again.I just tried out the crossbow on an assasin and, yes it works damn well.Too well! Nevermind. Now im gonna go upstairs in the inn and knock that posh guy out so i can loot his cabinet,...ahhh yes, old times!

Tancred 04-03-2001 06:01 PM

What's DSotSC? I know Tales of the Sword Coast, but I don't know this DSotSC. Is it another expansion pack? (oooooo!)

Tancred

Right! BACK TO CANDLEKEEP!
