I have a character, a fighter, that I at tenth level dualclassed to a cleric, so far so good. I get my spells and memorizes them, but when the game is guing again the spellcasting icon in the bottom of the screen is dark and nothing happens when i click it. I had the same problem when I was playing a berserker/cleric. You have to get the patch. Just download the patch at ironworks (link on top right)

Well, it still doesn't work. I got a warning message while installing though, something like "error could not open supportfiles".

If you install the patch, on baldur.ini file under [program option] put the line "disable sound=0", if you set it to 1, the sound will be disabled, if set at 0, nothing happens. Putting this line in the file enabled my berserker/mage to cast spells again, it might be related to your problem.

As for the patch, try downloading it again (maybe from a different site). And make sure you have the latest Win.zip program.
