I just wanted to know if there is alot of people using rogues(thieves or bards) as there main character.

I have a thief as my main character,He's doing very good,level 16,and I got Mae'Vars guild as my stronghold.

What does the stronghold give to you?

It's a place where can sleep and keep your stuff that you don't need in the inventory.Like a base lets say.

Well I never really used a Bard, but i love thieves. right now i am using one "ASSASIN" kit and dualling it to a fighter when it reach 5x backstab.
#1 Wizard killer. Poison dagger and 5x backstab. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-.../smiles/ak.gif die wizard.

anywayz, thieves are really kewl but i dont' suggest u begin with them the first time around.

The thief stonghold is pretty boring though. i think the fighter and the Mage has the best stronghold. u get more quest with the fighter and items from the wizards.

I used a thief from the first time.My thief did all the stuff,and Minsc was killing all the enemies hehe.

And what kit are you using???

I'm using a multi-classed fighter/thief. Hard going at the start but things are coming together now he's moving up levels. He owns both the Fighter Stronghold and the Thief Guild which is a bonus. If I ever played again I think I'd go with a pure thief.

Yes,thieves are very usefull in the game,especially when you know how to use them well.
