I am currently in Chpt.2 BG2 Docks District, and returning the Bird to Xsar. Usually after you have done this and Xsar is killed someone calles Jaheria away and she leaves the party for a time. When she returns it opens up some Harpers Quests. This is just not happening for me, I tied everything (that I could think of) and thought may Jaheria just left later in the game, this didn't seem to happen either.

It is not really a big deal but I just want to go back to the Harpers Hide out and finish thing off!! and don't want to miss out on later quests that I don't know about yet.

Help. Please. Frustrated!!

It did the same thing to me. First, I thought that it was related to the fact that I was a goody paladin, but after awhile (after Winspear Hills) the girl came. I think it depends on your character. Be patient.

Also did you do Jaheria's curse yet? That could be another trigger event.

Of course, Jaheria's curse goes along with the "get bird for Xzar" and the "attack by bandit", I recall I've done these three things during my games before Jaheria got her first summoning from Harpers.

I am also having problems getting this quest. Jaheira was cursed and cured. Nothing else has happened to trigger the Harper quest. I am just about done with Chapter 3, have done Windspear and Umar Hills. HELP!

You've done the curse.
You need to do the Xzar/Montaron quest
Also sleep in the wilderness until bandits attack and try to hold Jaheira hostage

I have never had to do that third thing and I have played the game through three times
