i collected 19 of those, but what can i do with them? (i was hoping for a mithril armor? :D )

In the dungeon there is a room that has some contraption that will give you assorted Boots depending on how much you spend. The dialog at the begining tells you archaicly what the choices are. Sorry but I can't remember exactly what they are. You should be able to get 22 tokens in the dungeon though.

Tokens:
5= boots of the north (50% cold resistance)
10=boots of grounding (50% elec resistance)
15=boots of speed (haste)
20=Jester's Chain (chainmail +4)

In my opinion, the Boots of speed is the best bargain. I believe the Jester Chain is somehow cursed but don't quote me on it(There was some reason I didn't take it).

If you can find all the tokens (or at least 20) you should have enough change to get the Boots of the North. Nothing big, but better than loose tokens clinking in your pockets.

No the Jester's chain isnt cursed... the only reason u would probably get that over the boots of speed and boots of the north is if u have a barbarian( can only wear chainmail and less) because it is the 3rd best armour a Barbarian can get (Bladesinger and Crimson being 1st and 2nd) That isnt including ToB

Barbarians can wear Splint Mails and less. What is the AC rating of Jester's Chain? Shadow Dragon Armour is base AC 1.

Ah yes.... I forgot about that [img]graemlins/doh.gif[/img] well I think its AC 2.... whoops

Jesters Chain is AC1, so shadow dragon scale is better due to the better AC modifiers for dragon scale armours. Crimson Chain+5 (AC0) from Ribalds stash is probably the best armour for Barbarians in SoA.
