as sad as it sounds i need a substitue for minsc. i want edwin and those 2 cant be together. are there other rangers in the game. good or evil aligned (provided that they wont try to kill edwin) and if there isnt is there a paladin that is any good ? i'd prefer a pure class since they will be a tank for me. kaigan got on my nerves and i already have berserker. any help appreciated thanks.

WHy not go for Valygar, let him dual wield katanas. He is also a ranger (or stalker) to be specific.

Yeah - Valegar is neutral good, so he shouldn't get TOO unpleasant with an evil character. Edwin is pretty unpleasant, though.....

can a stalker backstab with katanas ?

Yes, katana is one of those weapons that you can backstab. But keep in mind the multiplier for stalker backstab is significantly lower than the theif's.

I had Minsc and Edwin in my party and i had no trouble with them. I don't see why they can't be together unless u have such high rep that Edwin leaves ur party.

Really? i never had any problem with Minsc or Edwin. Yoshi and Jaheira when they left for some quest. Keldorn left to but i never had Viconia in my party. ohhh well i guess iam luckyhttp://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif

Korgan (mmm - dwarf maniac). Top notch axeman. Can't use azuredge unfortunately (need to be a goody two-shoes for that), but there si a Dwarven throwre for sale in the game and you can put further weapon adds in hammer
