then the latest IEEP (infinety engine editer something) to make items. some body will definatly post a link or you cant do a search on the board for editing and find an older post with the info. and instructions.

I too, am in the dark about how to create items. I've read several posts, about six or seven websites, most of Team BG's documentation and I am at a loss.

I have the Infinity Engine Editor Pro 1.0.7 and Shadowkeeper 1.0.4. I keep reading to export an item using Shadowkeeper. All that I can see to do is the "Export List" from the item editor, which puts a notepad document to my desktop, with the names of the items.

What am I missing? HELP HELP HELP
HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, if one should reply, imagine me sitting here wearing a ring of Feeblemind, and take into consideration that I have only novice computer skills.

Thanks

Interplay should just include an item editor/creator in the game.

For exporting items, I have not use the Shadowkeeper. Instead I used one of those BIF tools that extract ALL items into a separate folder so I can pick and choose at my leisure. The items will be in .ITM format once extracted.

I use Infinity Engine Editor Pro. to create and edit items. I then use either ShadowKeeper (BG2), DaleKeeper(IWD) or the appropiate Character Control editor to give my characters items. To extract individual items I've found that the Infinity Explorer to be a great way to browse all the items, spells, and creatures and save only the files I want to see. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help and ideas. When I finish my long weekend at work, I'm going to figure this out.
