Whats The Deal With Dual Class... I have 6 guys in my party (most Level 3) and none of them can dual class

1.- Only humans can dual class.

2.- You must have 15 or more in the main attributes of your actual class and 17 or more in the main attributes of the class you want to dual into. For example, to dual a fighter into a mage you need 15 or more strength and 17 or more intelligence.

3.- The dual classing must be done with classes that can be multi. I mean, you cant do a fighter/ranger, because you cant be a multi fighter/ranger. For example, a bard or a paladin will never be able to dual class because there are no multi classes with those classes.

Ertai_OHF is right so either your stats were not high enough or couldnt because of class/race/alignment.

here is an example

A fighter with 18 Str and 17 DEx duels at level 6 to a thief
Thief level 1-6 can only be the theif but at level 7 you can use the fighter and thieving abilities( if armor is leather or studded)

I remember only two people in the game who can dualclass: Imoen into a mage or mage specialist and Shar Teel into a thief (I dual classes her at level 6 when she got 4 stars in small swords, she is now almost level 7 thief at which point her backstabs will be o-so-deadly, I just can't wait...
