Ramon, I meddled with the registry in my Norton program. I delete the registry you mentioned...Bioware, etc. and one other under the Bioware registry. My new message when I try to Install the program again follows Install Shield's attempt to prepare the computer for installing BGII...it goes like this: The dreaded "ding" something is wrong and a window that says the following..."Error extracting support files. Access is denied." At least I'm now looking at a new window after months of the old! Man oh man...I am really suffering withdrawall...I do thank you all for trying to help me. Maybe I'll actually get the game up and running again. I do feel that I am getting closer.
