I started playing BG-II with a female character (paladin) who was basically a retread of my original BG-I character (who was male).
Now, part way through BG-II Anomen starts drooling over my paladin and frankly ... ew! So, breaking with my usual personal rule of not tinkering with my save games, I download the very cool "shadowkeeper" program and change my Character name, gender and portrait. All the people the party meet in the street address my character by the new gender but I still have Anomen calling my PC "My Lady" and carrying on as before... DOUBLE EW! Has anyone got any clue as to how to get the NPC's in my party to register the gender change or do I have to stay with the original gender? P.S. After reading this forum for a bit, I had NO idea that there were so many romance sub-plots. Shame they're almost all for male PC's. |
Welcome to IW. :D
Hmm just kill Anomen.. :D I hate him.. ! |
go to the Global tab in SK and change the "AnomenRomanceActive" number to 3. thatll put a stop to his shenanigans.

Maybe if you boot Anomen from the party, that'll stop his romance (or not--he might be one horny fella), and once you re-recruit him, he'll take another look at your gender to see what he should call you.

A Big Thank you to everyone who helped with this one.
After enabling CLUA-console and installing shadowkeeper I have been able to shut that Anomen up for good (although for a while I also had Aerie hitting on my female Paladin, but that was soon fixed). Ta! |
is there a aerie romance or is that just using shadowkeeper?
