ok how do you kill that bloody lich thing in the docks, you know after you give him back his body, he is well hard, he just makes all my dudes disappear and there doesn't seem to be a lot I can do about that.

After he becomes a floating skull demilich, you mean? Depends on your main character. My Sorceror did:

Haste
Spell Shield vs Abjuration School
Tenser's Transformation
Staff/Magi (from Twisted Rune)
When my Spell Shield expired, I pegged it and re-cast Spell Shield and Tenser's Transformation.

My Berserker:
Haste
Scroll vs Magic
Big +4 weapon

For others, the best weapons are:

Cleric Upgraded Mace of Disruption
Paladin Holy Avenger
Ranger Vorpal Sword (only Rangers can affect a demi-lich with this)
Thief Get one of your fighters to fo it

Just do it:
Have your mage cast Spell Imunity - Abjuration and keep him CLOSE to the demi-lich, now have (the best is) Keldorn wielding the Carsomyr +5 (or any other with a +4+ weap) a little back from the mage whacking him till death.

this guy is the hardest single enemy in the game... he's imprisonment spells are a pain in the ass...... if u don't use the BASE to kill him (the protect from abjuration) is impossible to kill him...
