Kid just started BG2 and is in chapter 2. Can't seem to find robe for good mage. Can anyone help out as to where to find one?

The Archimagi robe is good,I don't remember where is it though.

For a mage, the Adventurer's Mart has Bracers of AC 3, which is better than any of they robes.

it is so much better than casting speed minus 4, magic resistence plus 5%, vocalizing, ac 5... is it not??

Does the "bonus CD" works with all BG2 language versions?

red wizard: I always used the Bracers and Robe of Vecna, but not everybody has the addition, or the money to blow on the robe...it costs quite a bit. Also, the archmagi robes don't show up until much later in the game.
