When I was in the Docks District at night when I was entering the Harper Base I ran into a Shadow Thief (forgot his name) came up to me screaming for help, then Del and her vampire friends arrive I told her to do him in; so she did and I stood out of it fearing of being demolished by vampires, right now i'm in Nalia's Keep, but I fear I may have done the wrong thing.

Am I gonna have to join Bodhi now? (I sure hope not! I hate Vampires!) Because I let Del kill the Shadow Thief. Please help me here cuz i'm a paladin, and a paladin does not work for vampires.


btw, does anyone feel like strangling Nalia's Aunt? Cuz she was the MOST annoying person (aside from Anomen) i've ever met!!!

No you can still go with the Shadow Thieves. :D

But no, it won't make any difference. In my opinion, it should at least lower your reputation, but that's BG for ya.

everyone feels like killing nalias aunt - i know i did, but ive never seen it done. what bugs me is that her dialogue is too set - she dosent respond differently if you have nalia in your party, or if you happen to have a more respectable character such as a paladin.

keldorn has his own little comments to the aunt, as does mazzy and anomen i believe. but the cost of 4 rep points for killing this woman is ridiculous, so i cast domination on her and let her try killing a troll.

I agree !!!

As a Paladin (player) of many years experience this is one of the most degrading instances of cowardice I can recall. How dare Darlon intentionally let a vampire butcher someone, just because he/she might lose the fight. A Paladin must always battle evil, protect those whom need it and be willing to go to his/her God (i.e. die) doing so.
I imagine that this incident should send you hurtling towards becoming an Anti-Paladin (with the associated Charisma of 3 or 4). Pray brother/sister, repent and pray for forgiveness that your God should not abandon you. If you have any hope for the future then throw yourself into becoming the 2nd most feared, 2nd best opponent of all things evil and you may be worthy of the title "Paladin" again one day.
