Hey, I am just starting out in BG2. I have never played a PC game based on the ADND rules, I went through the tutorial and it seemed a bit easy. Whats a good charecter class to start out with? I am thinking a mage would not be good because all you really do is magic and that could get complicated? Well any input would be appreciated. Thanks http://www.davemart.com/nate/button.gif

If it is the first ever game you play, try ranger (archer or pure ranger) or paladin (cavalier or undead hunter). Paladin got bonus to saving throws (which affects your defense against magic attacks), and both class got relatively high hitpoints and can fight. Additional class/kits bonuses are also very good for them.

Hmmm, I am having trouble with bg2 now, sometimes when i am in the middle of gameplay it just freezes, and i have to turn off my computer. anyone else have that happen? I downloaded the latest patch and it still does it.

What is your pc's specs? RAM? Also, what graphic setting are you using at??

I have an AMD 1.1ghz CPU, Geforce 2 pro gts 64MB video card, 256MB of ram, windows 2000, 32bit color at 800x600
