I've been playing throught the game a second time and finding it very amusing, since my monk can kill a dragon in under 15 seconds, a pit fiend in 3 seconds and various other enemies quickly. When entering a heavily trapped area with lots of mages I just send the monk in, nobody causes any damage to her at all. Anyone else got any tales of obscenely powerful characters?

Raise the difficulty level...that should even the score,,,unless you already have...

Get the new patch, it lowers a lot of the monks abalities.

I haven't tried the monk, but I would like to try it someday.

The kensai/thief is also powerful class. The backstabs are really great. 280 damage in one single blow (critical hit and backstab x5). The only downside is that he has bad AC, but if he is used properly he is a killer.

I have a character that I like to brag about too..

Half-Orc Berserker, equiped with the Celestial Fury, the Crom Feyer, and the Boots of Speed. Grand Mastery in Katanas and two weapon style, and enough goodies to give him an armor class of -11 and main/off hand THACOs of -13/-10 while attacking 5 times per round. Likewise, my other charcters cast dispelling magic and carry loot. (ps. this is without cheats, of course)

i can boast about AC my record is -19 with fortress shield and drow plate
