Hey ,its about the 5th time i've done this now and i justfound a rather nice method for beating those guys upstairs with no fuss.
Well, this time my whole team was invisible(potions),and i just walked them all into the room on the left(as you enter),and had my fighter/mage/thief cast a few cloudkill and stinking cloud through the doorway into the main room, followed by a web spell(great for slowing down mummies and ettercaps). A couple of those guys died and by the time i entered the main room to clear up, the rest were severely weakened and all was over in a few hits. -as for the 'monsters' downstairs,i'd recommend putting those speedy boots on your mage so that when they appear your mage can flee, whilst your party kill the nishiru(first)and then the other things, and your mage can stand back and cast spells. |
Hey, that's pretty good. i've always had trouble getting through the compound and had to delay until i buffed up.

Cloudkill is very useful in alot of places ,especially on humans and umber hulks,ie: the group in the centre of the beholder lair(pit of faithless).I usually combine it with a web spell just in case they decide to wander.
I tried cloudkill on the group of dwarves and mages in the sewers(temple district)but things didn't really work too well, and we had a great battle which took place over most of the north section of the map(i love fighting that group). ------------------ "The temple is I and I am the temple". |
