After rescueing NAlia from her Ex-Fiance I noticed she went down like 5 levels! And she wont gain any levels either. on her portrait is says "LEVEL DRAIN". what can i do to save my favorite Mage from sucking?

Raistlin 03-15-2001 04:33 PM

Although I would debate the real problem of having a female mage "sucking", you
should take her to a temple and pay for restoration, she'll be fine.

To prevent level-drain:
-Amulet of Power
-Negative Plane Protection (spell)
To restore level-drain:
-kill and resurrect
-restoration scrolls or temple services

P.S. remember to re-memorize you spells after restoration.

You have likely encountered a vampire. They can drain your levels, but you can easily prevent this by casting "Negative Plane Protection", a fourth level priest spell. An item that prevents level drain is the Amulet of Power.
To remove a level drain you can do either of the following:
- go to a temple and have them cast greater restoration on your char
- use a scroll of greater restoration which you can buy in the temple
- use the priest spell Lesser Restoration or Greater Restoration

Note that the caster of the spell will become fatigued.

Just pointing out the obvious, I never got that far with any of the romance
plots. I really had no idea they got that graphic. Can't wait to play again!

Yep the Restoration spell will fix her right up.

Just be glad this is not the real D&D. Level drains suck alot more as not every temple you wander across has a 14th level priest wandering it's halls.

And about relashionships. Just cause I bagged a drow elf in the line of duity, Aerie gets all mad at me. She is the one that decided that things were going too fast, and she was the one leaveing me untill I asked really nicely for her to stay (hay we needed a cleric!). Anyway....WE WERE ON A BRAKE!

Damm dealing with that women is way too much like real life. Besides I had too, didn't want to blow our cover.
