My main character is a Ranger and I was woundering which other character you all think would make a good adds. I know that it is really totally up to the player but, I am just looking for opinions. This is what I think.

** Good Aligned Party **

Krystal Klear Archer ( my main )
Keldorn Firecam Inquisitor
Mazzy Fentan Fighter
Viconia deVir Cleric ( and she is blue what more could you as for ? )
Aerie Cleric/Mage ( the best of both worlds )
Imoen Mage/Thief ( she is really a pure mage as she can't advance
in her thief class anymore but her abilities as
a thief seem to me good enough )

NOTE

When Imoen gets captured at the beginning of chapter 2. Make sure that you have Yoshimo * Bounty Hunter * ( once you leave chapter 1 you will not be able to go back and get him so I suggest to have him in your party ) or
Naila de' Arnise * Mage/Thief *. As you woun't be able to get Imoen back untill chapter 4

Anyone have any other party suggestions they are more then welcome.

If your main character is Female, you will probably want Anomen instead of Viconia. For better or worse, this is the only NPC which will create a romance script with a female PC.

You can pick up Yoshimo at Copper Coronet if you did not do so in the initial dungeon.

Me Berserker/Mage
Minsc, ranger
Jaheria, fighter/druid
Aerie, cleric/mage
Nalia, thief/mage or Valygar, stalker
Imoen, thief/mage

I usually like some more tanks. What happened to Minsk?? And BOO!

My favorite configuration was:

Me: Mage
Minsk- Tank
Keldorn- Tank w/ cromfaeyr
Jaheira- Pretty solid fighter, and great spells
Yoshimo- Ramp him up on trap setting abilities, decent fighter, good with range

Yeah, Keldorn is good. I quite like Valegar, but he is not as good as Keldorn.
My team is:

Me - Cleric
Jaheira - Fighter/Druid
Minsc - Berserker Ranger
Valegar - Stalker
Aerie - Mage/Cleric
Imoen - Mage/Thief

which is fairly balanced but a bit short on the Tank side. However, my Cleric is a pretty decent Tank 'cos I made damn sure she started out with high Strength and Constitution as well as high Wisdom, and the rest of her abilities are pretty high as well - though I did sacrifice Intelligence somewhat. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...s/coollook.gif
