I just got Lilacor and my fighter is 1 strength point away from using it...what do i do? can i gain a point during the game?

I don't recall any permanent strength modifiers in BGII. You can try and obtain gauntlets/gidle of ogre strength or something like that. You can use a spell or potion that increases strength for a number of rounds

Balance

Ehm... I believe there are no Tomes of Strength as there were in BG1.
But there are several items in the game that will raise your strength for a short time (like potions). Here are some items that will raise it permanently :

- Glove's of Ogre Strength (18 str)
- Belt of Hill Giant Strength (19 str)
- Belt of ***** Giant Strength (23 str)(cant remmember what Giant)
- Crom Faeyr (but that isnt usefull at all 4 you)

or you could just download an editor and give yourself the point back sometimes i get bugs when people are permanently feeble minded and even after i dispel theyre wandering aroud and int still stays at 3

If you insist to have an addition of +1 to STR, either download the Shadowkeeper or use the CreateItem and create BOOK04 if you won't lose any sleep using game enhancements.

If you have Bg1 do it the long way and legaly gain that extra point. I heard some people when throught Bg1 several times just so their char could have 25 on all stats...

If you gaot BG1 and a lot of spare time, make a character give him all the books(but don't use them.) then export the guy. When making a new character do it in mp bg1 and inport this guy as a second character. swap over the books, export him move the file in to bg2 character folder and import him when making a character.

But that is Minsc's sword!

Check out the Adventuers Mart in the Promenade under girdles. Nothing in the game I've found so far that permenatly raises strength. You make a fighter with less than 18 strength? Not a good choise.

this is how you use it

drink a potion of strength, and put on the sword, DO NOT EVER remove it. not even change weapon, not shapchanging, NOTHING!! DO NOTHING TO CHANGE!

and when the potion's duration ran out, the sword will be still on your hand.
