No, it doesn't. Pick whichever you intend to keep in the party, ideally the one with higher exp. Of the 2, Jaheira is far better and has a more interesting storyline.

keep jaheira she rocks compared with Cernd

The bottom line is, Jaheria have great AC since she can wear heavy metal armor and shield, she can give and take punishment, at the same time got all those druid spells that we love.

I'd have to say Jaheira, she's definatly one of the better NPC's

I played Jaheira first time round, but am playing with Cernd now... he is pretty good, able to ironskin then change to a Greater Werewolf... pretty good at fighting.

Greater Werewolf is a great thing to have in the early chapter but he can hit
sh*t in the later ones

I agree with most of the above - I had Cernd in a party once, just to try him out. IMHO is nowhere near as good as Jaheira, who has great fighting skills as well as being able to summon insect plague & fire elementals (which I think are the 2 most useful druid spells).
