Hi folks, just bought the game and started playing, I Just entered the Slums and am looking for a thiefto join me after losing Imoen. I am playing a Ranger and found I couldn't open the Dwarfs (tough bugger) group chests.
Also I wondered if it is worth doing my Stronghold quest this early? seems I need to find a boy in the Slums somewhere. Anyone care to enlighten me? Thanx

Did you not accept Yoshimo into the party? If not, the best thief around (in my opinion) is Jan Jannsen in the Government disrict - he'san Illusionist/Thief with Stun bolts and items which bump up his thief skills huge amounts

Thanks! I will go find Jan. No I didn't accept Yoshimo because I read somewhere he is a nasty piece of work and not worht the hassle. Maybe I read wrong?

Stronghold quest do give some useful equiment and exprience, if want to do, do so. The boy appears romdomly in diferent screen of the city and when you find him he will walk up to you and start talking.
