#This is a spoiler, folks.#

I have used the books from BG1 to raise a few - ahem - attributes (okay, so I die a lot). I have enabled cheats in the baldur.ini file. You know, "book03" for constitution and the like. I have found that wisdom and charisma don't work at all. I don't know why the others do... oh well. Anyway, I know I am asking for a cheat, sigh, but anyone know how to raise the wisdom or even if there is an item in the game that can do this? I am in persuit of every cleric spell I can grab (wanna try them out, ya know!)

There is acheat that will help, however I am at work and cannot remember Off hand, If no one has helped by the time I get back I will give you the codes.

PS BG1 cheats do not necessarily work on BG2.

Oh i have just remembered go to: http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/bald...2/cheats.shtml
the above site holds all of the cheats if you don't already know it

Hi Charean !

Firstly: tome-enhanced stats from BG I are no cheats. You earned them.

Try to download Shadowkeeper from the Ironworks site, with which you can edit save games. You can edit characters, look up spells and items.

This is for BG2 - and I "create item" to get the books. All but wisdom and charisma are created correctly. For whatever reason, they won't go in the quick item slots. Some items from BG1 work in 2 - but some are difficult. Can't hurt too much to try!

Rip - I have gone through myself and found a lot of items that were not listed online yet... what a list of miscellaneous I have! Still working on it, and when I think I am done, I will post.

Ramon - I will look into the ShadowKeeper program... the problem is upping stats of NPCs... I know I should hang my head, but dang it - I can roll better characters than these! http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...les/tongue.gif

Thanks for the effort, I will hang loose for future posts! http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif

Thanks for the tip on ShadowKeeper... went to check it out... thanks. It looks like what I was looking for. Is it a good program? Not too buggy?

ctrl + shift + 8 will do it while you are makeing a character. but if you want to change an existing character you'll need shadowkeeper
