look on the world map, it's the nearest place outside of the city, its labled the D'Arnise keep anyway.

And when you leave the city for the first time you have to go to the city gates area and leave from there, or you won't get very far!
After the first time, you can travel to a place outside the city from any sector of the city.

I think when you first go outside the city gates you get stuck rescuing a bloke whos been poisoned and I dont think you can avoid it.

Did she offer you the quest in the first place? If not, she will be back in Copper Coronet after a couple of days. If she did, then head outside the city via City Gate.
