Hi, I have some questions about Umar hills quest.
1) I encountered some boys that asked me beer and swords. I gave them only beer. They can help me in anyway?
2) I encountered some peasants with some chikens. I know that in one of the chiken there's something. I gave them 100 and I saw that group gained one item but I don't see nothing new in may bag. What's happend? which item there was in the chiken?
3)I encountered some rangers that attacked me, but they are really enemy?

1.The boys are only there for fun. If you gave them beer, then the mother of one of them, the minister's wife will be annoyed with you later on. The boys will go missing, but you will find them sleeping their hangover off in the cave.

2.1 of the chickens has a very valuable stone inside it. If you paid for the chicken, you recive the gem, a beljuril. Don't sell it as it can be used to upgrade the Horn of Valhalla if you take both to the merchant below the art dealer in the Athkatla market.

3.Not sure about the rangers, I can't remember that part. Could they be Harpers, if so its part of Jaheiras story, which slowly unfolds if you keep her.

Just to add--

You don't have to fight the rangers. In the dialogue with them you can 'choose' to fight or not to fight....I would suggest not fighting....they are beatable but tough!

Something more to add.. if you are a Ranger you may not get the stronghold if you buy the boys swords and beer.
• Its better to have Vaylagar to join, you need him or his blood to enter the Sphere in the Slums in Athkala.

• You cn initiate the dialouge with the chicken guy after you talk to one of the peasants just before you see the chickens, a dude that tells you he has some info to sell after that you can buy the chicken with the bejuril.

Another way to get the gem but WITHOUT paying for it (hehehe) is to simply hack the chickens to death & pick up the gem.
The farmer's wife will go hostile & attack, just don't hit her back, the farmer will tell her to stop & they'll both walk away.
