I need edwin to balance out my Mage Party, and I need some help. I don't think I've ever seen him. I've went through most of the quests the first time through, and now it is my second time. I remember seeing him somewhere, but not sure where. Spoil me, please. And any related quests as well. Thanks

He´s in the Thieves Guild. Do Renal´s quest and you´ll find him.

To get Edwin, you will need to accept Renal's quest to get into Mae'Var's Guild. To keep things short, the first thing Mae'Var will assign you to steal an item from either Lathander or Talos temple (depending on your PC's alignment). Then he will send you to Edwin and you have to do 3 quests:
1) Kill a cowled wizard in the Dock District (the house is next to Harper Hold)
2) Kill or buy some documents for Edwin
3) Kill a "traitor" for Mae'Var and get his dagger (I usually let him go alive)
And then talk to Edwin after these 3 quests and you will be given the option to have him in your party and expose Mae'Var's plans to Renal.
