Supposing I cast friends (mage spell) on my charisma 18 Thief, (for a total of 24 charisma) am i gonna get stuff considorably cheaper?

Why dont ya just save your game and the find out for yourself?

I wouldnt think so bcause the tables only go to 18 Charisma... sry :(

Charisma can go over 18 ! Im not sure if your method will work as ive never tried it.

in my experience (paladin 18chr + blade of roses + helm of glory + nymph cloak = 23 chr) yes things are quite a bit cheaper, the diference is more if you're reputation isn't super high, but the bonuses (lower prices) are cumulative

Price modifiers for Charisma got all the way up to CHR = 25!

But unless your thief is a mage thief, you can't do what you propose. Friends can only be cast on the CASTER!

ring of human influence (18chr) cloak of nymph (+2 chr) and friends = mage w/ 25 chr
