I am in the Drow City (ust natha) and am working on quests for Phaere. She tells me, between her quests, that I will meet you in two...three days. Is there something I am supposed to be doing with this time? I can't find anything to do....I try to enter a few bldgs but it says "this door is protected by some serious whoop-ass magic, if you try to enter is will fry your ass" so now I am just wandering around doing laps around the city to waste time. Thanks

You can kill some time by going to the tavern and engaging in some mano y mano battles. You may need to rest afterwards, that will kill the time.

There are only several of side-quest in the drow city: 1) a lich, 2) clean out an area full of some jelly worshippers, and 3) get brain for a fish. Personally, I never do any one of them, I just did Phare's quest really quickly and get out of Underdark ASAP (it's nice to see the sun again).
Also, you can have some fun in the travel, like blowing up human slaves, or go fight/challenge drows or monsters in either one of the pits.

Thanks guys! I have already defeted all the monsters that the guy has to offer.....I guess I will just keep running around.....where is the lich? Do you mean the imprisoned mage outside the city? I have already done that also.

You will need to buy "magical ropes" or take it through threat from a drow wizard who will appear somewhere in the city map. You will need the rope to enter the lich tower.

Tip: Have you freed the human slaves or bought them to hunt them down for sport?
