I was reinstalling bg 2 when the dam power went out at around 82% so when the power came back on i booted up and uninstalled bg 2 but its still registered on my computer and won't let me install it again untill it is unstalled again but it already is so its been pissen me off!! so if know how to get rid of the register file on my com i'd be extremely grateful for your help

Try to search for it using 'Find files' and delete all BG2 files that way, except any saved games.

just explore the cd and run the install program, to install the whole thing again

Check the reg.ini file for any mention about Baldursgate, also in the program files folder ther will be a hidden file called install shield information with alot of bull in it, check for the baldurs gate here and delete it.
