Well i have wasted a significant amount of time trying to edit the background to my new web page that is hosted on angelfire. If anyone uses that service i would really appreciate your help.
Specifically where do you access the "basic editor" they talk about? I have tries editing using the netscape navigator browser commands of -file-edit page. when doing this when i go to publish the page it says that i am not allowed to do a "put". So i am guessing that i am using the wrong editor? Accessing the page the wrong way? Probably more importantly do you know of a concise easy reading manual that i can reference. I have read through some of the pages they provide links to however they do not say where you should be typing the html stuff at. Your help is greatly appreciated. |
I haven't used Angelfire, but I've done some basic web editing. I most frequently used the editor in Netscape Gold (it may be included in your version of Netscape), MS-Front Page Editor, and MS-Word (which can save files in *.html format). You can do a lot of things with these basic programs.
When looking for help I found the following website helpful: http://www.webmonkey.com Good luck. |
Thanks Father. Since i posted i figured out where i went wrong. I'll check out webmonkey though
